The relationship between the ENT specialist and the Deaf Community is
discussed along with the relative role of the nonmedical consultants w
ho come into contact with this group of people. Suggestions are made t
o the clinician for a correct approach to deaf persor: acquisition of
adeguate tools for communication and clear and understandable informat
