Abstract
The transmittance, the absorptance, and the phase shift on transmissio n and on reflection of a nonlinear, absorbing dielectric film are stud ied numerically for various model nonlinearities. The solution of the coupled nonlinear differential equations is straightforward. (C) 1996 Optical Society of America
