PLASMA-CELL GRANULOMA OF THE TEMPORAL BONE

Plasma cell granulomas are uncommon, benign tumors comprised primarily of mature plasma cells and are a distinct entity, separate from plasm acytomas. They are rarely found in the head and neck, and have never b een reported in temporal bone. This case represents the first report o f a plasma cell granuloma originating in the temporal bone. Treatment options include surgical removal and radiation therapy.
