Abstract
The dynamic kinetic resolution of certain allyl acetates has been achi eved by enzymatic hydrolysis to the corresponding allyl alcohols. In t he presence of a palladium catalyst, the allyl acetate is racemised, a llowing a dynamic resolution to take place.
