ABOUT THE INCLUSION OF AN INSECTICIDE IN ZEOLITIC MATERIALS

The commercial product Supercypermetrin orovinyl)-2-(2,2-dimetyl)-cycl opropanecarboxylate) [SCM] in the liquid form was included in the zeol itic host. A natural zeolitic material of clinoptilolite, type [CT] fr om a Slovakian deposit was used. The chemical control of the guest des orption was used for checking the existence of a new inclusion compoun d. The desorption of the insecticide under relatively drastic conditio ns (12 g of product in 200 ml H2O) showed a hindered and regulated rel ease of the insecticide. Thermal curves obtained by means of a derivat ograph and IR spectra were used for the study of the insecticide [SCM] enclosed (10%) in the zeolitic host and its desorption.
