Abstract
Choristoma is a mass of tissue histologically normal for an organ or p art of the body other than the site at which it is located. A rare cas e of ectopic salivary gland choristoma in the middle ear is described in a 4-year-old boy whose only symptom was a 50 dB conductive hearing loss in the presence of a normal tympanic membrane.
