The stoichiometry of thermal decomposition and the relationship betwee
n the thermal parameters (quasi-equilibrium decomposition temperatures
T-D and decomposition entalpies Delta H-D) of NiL(4)(NCS)(2) complexe
s (L = imidazole derivatives) were studied. It was found that changes
in the experimental conditions strongly influence the decomposition st
oichiometry. The T-D and Delta H-D can be ordered in the following seq
uence (according to L): imidazole<2-Me imidazole<2-Et imidazole<1-Me i
midazole.
