Polyacetylene films irradiated by gamma-rays up to 100 MRad were studi
ed by means of TMA, DTG and DSC methods. It is shown that as the irrad
iation dose increases the concentration of topological branching knots
into the polymer chains and the T-g values decrease, the total mass l
oss and the enthalpy of the thermal isomerization reaction also decrea
se.
