Abstract
Rifabutin is a useful drug in the treatment of patients with rifampici n-resistant mycobacteriosis or with rifampicin intolerance, Rifabutin is the preferable drug in patients infected with mycobacteria who conc omitantly receive immunosuppressive drugs, because interactions with t hese are less prominent than with rifampicin.
