Abstract
We study the possibility to classify the stars with the use of the pho toelectric spectrum scanner designed at Astronomisches Institut at Boc hum using a spectral resolution of about 10 Angstrom. We analyse tempe rature and luminosity effects in two spectral indices which were expec ted to be promising as spectral classification criteria from previous studies.
