Abstract
Twelve children and adolescents with movements suggestive of tardive d yskinesia (TD) were compared to 49 non-TD patients while receiving neu roleptic treatment. A multiple regression analysis revealed the diagno sis of TD to be significantly associated with a history of pregnancy a nd delivery complications (PDCs), suggesting that these events may inc rease the risk of the development of treatment emergent TD.
