A lattice model for adsorption from binary solutions is developed usin
g the Ono-Kondo equations, The resulting adsorption isotherm is derive
d and analyzed for systems with partial and complete miscibility. Resu
lts are compared with experimental data for the systems benzene-cycloh
exane, benzene-heptane, benzene-nitrobenzene, and toluene-brombenzene
on silica gel, as well as cyclohexane-nitrobenzene on alumina and seba
