Abstract
The most common ocular problem arising in patients with acquired immun odeficiency syndrome (AIDS) is opportunistic infection of the retina b y cytomegalovirus. There are, however, other causes of retinitis and u nusual ocular diseases associated with AIDS, the diagnosis and managem ent of which are reviewed in this article.
