Abstract
The role of serial head-up tilt testing for the evaluation of therapeu tic efficacy of neurally mediated syncope is reviewed. The evidence av ailable suggests that guiding therapy based on serial head-up tilt res ponse may not be appropriate, and large placebo-controlled trials shou ld be conducted to address this issue.
