Abstract
Six new species of the tiphiid genus Upa are described: U. bidentata, U. ligulata, U. longispina, U. nasata, U. porteri, and U. tridentata. All these species are from Brazil, except U. porteri which is from Arg entina. A distribution map, figures, and a key to males of all seven d escribed species are given.
