Abstract
The genotoxic effect of ofloxacin was significantly decreased by stand ard antimutagens (sodium selenite, ascorbic acid, butylated hydroxyani sole and butylated hydroxytoluene) in the unicellular flagellate Eugle na gracilis. The antiofloxacin activity of sodium selenite was also do cumented by a bacterial test in which the repair-proficient strain Sal monella typhimurium TA102 was used.
