Isothermal vapor-liquid equilibria for the three binary systems 1-chlo
ro-1,1-dichloroethane + 1,1-dichloro-1-fluoroethane, 1-chloro-1,1-difl
uoroethane + 1,1,1-trichloroethane, and 1,1-dichloro-1-fluoroethane 1,1,1-trichloroethane and the ternary system l-chloro-l,1-difluorometh
ane + 1,1-dichloro-1-fluoroethane + 1,1,1-trichloroethane have been me
asured at 50.1 degrees C. The experimental data for the binary systems
are correlated with the Peng-Robinson equation of state, and the rele
vant parameters are presented. The predicted results for the ternary s
ystem were found to be in good agreement with the experimental data.
