Abstract
Aquagenic urticaria (AU) is a rare disorder, and to be diagnosed, othe
r types of physical urticarias must be excluded. In this case report,
clinical aspects, investigational methodology, and finally some consid
erations for the treatment of AU are reviewed, with special attention
given to the good response to hydroxyzine in this case, the first one
described in Brazil.
