Abstract
The visualization of Cayley graphs for many groups is possible using 3 -D models. Most of our examples are Cayley graphs of infinite groups w here we exploit automatic structures to efficiently produce computer i mages of the Cayley graphs. The infinite groups are visualized using f ractal rescaling so that the infinite graph projects into a bounded do main. Varying the color choice for these fractal representations of th e Cayley graphs allows the visual recognition of features such as posi tivity of the total exponent of the words.
