Abstract
Major trends in preparation equipment at the 1995 International Machin ery Exhibition (ITMA) included singeing various tubular diameters, sem icircular-shaped burners, singeing automation and central control and refined woven bleach ranges. New equipment typically allowed for lower chemical usage, caustic, water and steam consumption, and reduced dwe ll and mercerizing times.
