Abstract
The aim of the present study was an analysis of the adhesion of compos ite materials to fresh bovine bone tissue. The analysis was carried ou t by evaluating shear bond strength and scanning electron microscopy ( SEM) results. All specimens showed a good composite-bone adaptation wi th strong binding between methacrylate-based materials and bovine bone . These composites could be used in an array of surgical fields in add ition to fresh autogenous grafts.
