Abstract
Optoelectronic feedback is proposed as a suitable method for output st abilization of current modulated laser diodes. Numerical simulations s how low jitter operation with significant on/off ratios even beyond th e relaxation oscillation frequency. Low frequency components in the ou tput power spectra are efficiently suppressed. (C) 1996 American Insti tute of Physics.
