Abstract
Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is often managed by primary care pr actitioners, who must coordinate the care with the support of subspeci alists. The management of patients with such a serious and chronic dis ease can be both rewarding and challenging. This article reviews commo n problems and suggests management strategies.
