Abstract
Calculations have been performed on the grain-size composition of a fi ller to provide the maximum packing density for particles with a conti nuous size distribution. Calculations have been done on the maximal vo lume proportions of the solid phase and filler with various relations for the limiting sizes of the particles. An analytic description can b e given for the grain-size distribution of a polydisperse filler on th e basis of Goden's formula.
