Abstract
Reconstruction of elementary holograms recorded in photorefractive BTV O (Bi12Ti0.76V0.24O20) crystals is investigated. A non-exponential dec ay behavior presumably caused by superposition of at least two grating s with different time constants is observed. By applying external elec tric de fields an a posteriori control of the diffracted intensity dur ing reconstruction is achieved.
