Abstract
We report a case of gluteal pigmentation after intramuscular iron inje ctions. A study in Light microscopy, electron microscopy and X-ray mic ro-analysis by energy selection confirmed iron deposition. These cutan eous pigmentations with iron deposits are infrequent because such inje ctions are now rarely used.
