Abstract
In this case report a patient with therapeutically recalcitrant erythr odermic psoriasis is presented, After various attempts with several ma jor therapies in this patient, the first substantial improvement was a chieved using the combination of cyclosporine and calcipotriol, follow ed by the combination of UVB and calcipotriol, The therapeutic options for severe psoriasis are discussed, and since combined approaches see m to be an attractive alternative for severe psoriasis, mechanisms of synergy of combined therapeutic approaches are hypothesised.
