Abstract
We demonstrate the sensitivity of NbSi thin film thermometers to balli stic phonons. This effect leads to signal amplitudes up to 7 times lar ger than the theoretical predicted thermal equilibrium signal amplitud es. A simple model of the device in good agreement with quantitative a nalysis of data is presented.
