A. Rosenberg et al., PRIMARY EXTRANODAL CD30-POSITIVE T-CELL NON-HODGKINS-LYMPHOMA OF THE ORAL-MUCOSA - REPORT OF 2 CASES, International journal of oral and maxillofacial surgery, 25(1), 1996, pp. 57-59
CD30-positive extranodal T-cell lymphomas predominantly occur in the s
kin, and they are characterized by a rather indolent course with spont
aneous regression of individual lesions. Their occurrence in the oral
mucosa is rare and not well documented. Two cases are reported, one oc
curring in the oral mucosa in a 61-year-old man and originally present
ing as a multifocal eosinophilic ulcer of the mucous membrane, and the
other one mimicking periodontitis, occurring in the maxillary gingiva
of a 75-year-old woman.
