Abstract
Malignant external otitis (MEO) is an infection of the external audito ry meatus, that affects elderly diabetic patients. As this disease res ults in a high percentage of deaths, especially if the diagnosis is de layed, we thought that it would be useful to cite a recent case study that was resolved in a positive way, in spite of the extent of the dis ease.
