Abstract
Enhancement of absorption spectral intensities have been observed for Be(II) and Al(III) complexes of alizarin and quinalizarin in the prese nce of cationic and nonionic micelles. This effect has been successful ly exploited for the spectrophotometric determination of Be(II) and Al (III). Optimum conditions for complexation, composition of complexes a nd statistical analysis of the results have also been reported.
