We describe two cases of Reiter syndrome with IgA nephropathy. In the
first patient, a classical triad of urethritis, conjunctivitis and art
hritis was observed, in association with diskeratosic skin lesions. In
the second patient, the presence of typical arthritis and urethritis,
in the absence of conjunctivitis enabled us to make a diagnosis of in
complete Reiter syndrome. Renal biopsy showed IgA nephropathy in both
patients. We suggest that the combination of these two disorders, whic
h share a predominant IgA response, is not fortuitous.
