Abstract
This paper presents several observations on the connections between in formation, physics, and computation. In particular, lire computing pow er of quantum computers is examined. Quantum theory is characterized b y superimposed slates and nonlocal interactions. It is argued that rec ently studied quantum computers, which are based oil local interaction s, cannot simulate quantum physics.
