Abstract
A case of idiopathic pulmonary hemosiderosis in a 25 year-old woman is reported, Onset occurred at the seventh month of her first pregnancy and recurred eight months after delivery, In the light of this case, t he diagnostic strategy for alveolar hemorrhage syndromes is outlined, The etiopathogenic hypotheses put forward for idiopathic pulmonary hem osiderosis are reviewed.
