Abstract
We consider the problem of the homogenization of degenerate elliptic o perators associated with the homogeneous Heisenberg group, with strong ly oscillating coefficients which are periodical in the sense of the H eisenberg group. We use the method of energy to identify the homogeniz ed problem.
