Using the Munich Q3D spectrograph the Sm-154(-->(d),t), (d,t), (p,d),
and (He-3,He-4) Sm-153 reactions have been measured at beam energies b
etween 23 and 32 MeV. The high resolution of up to 4 keV FWHM especial
ly in (p,d) is essential to achieve reliable energy calibration. All l
evels reported in the Nuclear Data Sheets [1] with the exception of hi
gh spin states (J greater than or equal to 13/2) are observed and at h
igher excitation energy (E(x) > 1MeV) many new levels could be identif
ied. The analysis in the framework of the Nilsson model uses CCBA to i
nclude inelastic transfer amplitudes.
