From the gamma-gamma coincidence data and radioactivity analysis nearl
y complete distributions of products for (208)pb + 350 MeV Ni-64 and T
e-130 + 275 MeV Ni-64 reactions were established. The results are disc
ussed in terms of the equilibration of N/Z ratio in deep-inelastic (ma
ssive transfer) processes. Comparison with model calculations suggests
a significant deformation of nuclei at the scission point.
