Abstract
The accumulation of S-35-sulphite by isolated protoplasts of Kalanchoe daigremontiana is higher at the lower pH of the medium. Deacidified p rotoplasts are more active in this process than the acidified ones. Th e penetration of sulphite into the cells is much faster during the fir st minutes of incubation than in the following period.
