Abstract
The ground state band of Cr-48 has been extended to high spins through the reaction Mg-24(S-32,2 alpha). The assignment of the transitions w as based on gamma-gamma-gamma and gamma-gamma-particle(E,Delta E) - co incidences. The data confirm theoretical predictions based on full fp spherical shell model calculations.
