Abstract
We present laboratory results for measurements of the four-point coher ence function of a spherical wave in the region of coherence enhanceme nt after backscattering through turbulence. Experimental results are c ompared with the theoretical predictions. We conclude that the shape o f the four-point coherence function in our experiment depends on the v alue of the inner scale of turbulence. (C) 1996 Optical Society of Ame rica
