Abstract
The authors report a case of mediastinal extraskeletal osteosarcoma sh owing immunohistochemical and ultrastructural features of epithelial d ifferentiation and associated with a long-term patient survival. The p ossible role of flow cytometric DNA analysis in defining the prognosis of this tumor is discussed.
