Abstract
Various 2- or 3- substituted 3-sulfolenes reacted with N-chlorosuccini mide in the presence of n-BuLi to give the corresponding 1, 3-butadien e-1-sulfonyl chlorides in good yields with high regio- and stereo-sele ctivities.
