Abstract
4-Adamantyl-5-aryl-3-phenyl-Delta(2)-1, 2,4-oxadiazolines were synthes ized and evaluated in vitro as antitumor agents against 60 human tumor cell lines. Some derivatives exhibit both cell selectivity and tumor growth inhibition activity. In particular, 2,6-dichlorophenyl derivati ve (2q), the most active of the series, possesses significant activity on 26 cell lines at 10(-5) M.
