Abstract
Field studies were conducted from 1990 through 1992 to evaluate the to lerance of four clover species and one annual medic species to selecte d postemergence herbicides. Circle Valley medic, arrowleaf clover, cri mson clover, red clover and sweetclover were injured by 2,4-D and MCPA while bentazon at 0.8 and 1.7 kg ha(-1) caused consistent injury only to sweetclover. 2,4-DB at 2.2 kg ha(-1) resulted in consistent injury to annual medic, arrowleaf clover, crimson clover, and sweetclover. P ronamide caused no legume injury while MCPA injured crimson clover, re d clover and sweetclover.
