Abstract
A patient with AIDS developed recurrent venous thrombosis in a lower l imb. Tests demonstrated combined protein C and S deficiency. Diagnosis of this abnormality of unclear etiology is important to allow appropr iate therapy aimed at preventing venous and arterial thromboembolism.
