NIOSOMES IN PERSPECTIVE

After positioning niosomes versus different non-phospholipid vesicular systems, the authors report the results that have been obtained with new compositions of amphiphiles. Their properties are examined in rela tion to the requirements encountered in practical applications. The au thors are led to observe that, whereas the physicochemical behaviour o f vesicles is modulated by their constitution, the fact remains that t his excipient can be active by itself.
