Abstract
Many oxide films such as those of most alkali earth metals, most trans
ition metals and rare earth elements can be obtained through a new pro
cess called electrochemical deposition-pyrolysis. In the present paper
the formation kinetics and mechanisms and the structure and propertie
s of AlOOH films are discussed as an example.
