K. Takano et al., DEVELOPMENT OF PERSONAL-COMPUTER AIDED AN ALYSIS AND EVALUATION SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR HUMAN RELATED INCIDENTS IN NUCLEAR-POWER-PLANTS, Nippon Genshiryoku Gakkaishi, 36(11), 1994, pp. 1059-1067
A remedy-oriented analysis and evaluation procedure, had been already
developed by the authors, as a method of making systematical survey of
fact-finding cause identification, and proposal of countermeasures fo
r human-related incidents in nuclear power plants. This paper describe
s a personal-computer based analysis and evaluation support system whi
ch was newly developed for the purpose of practical and extensive use
of the, above procedure. The computer-based system can support the ana
lyst's desk top analysis and evaluation procedure by replacing each st
ep of the procedure into some prescribed questions so as to improve th
e following points:(1) to make analysis more systematically;(2) to pro
vide analysis reports automatically;(3) to make it easy to master the
procedure, etc. As a consequence of the support system introduction, i
t was shown that the system could reduce the time required for analysi
s and evaluation by a half, and also possible to reduce the time neces
sary for the training course for the user to have better understanding
s of the procedure, than without the system.
