P. Heist et T. Kleinschmidt, MEASUREMENT OF ULTRAVIOLET SUBPICOSECOND PULSES BASED ON ULTRAFAST BEAM DEFLECTION, Optics letters, 19(23), 1994, pp. 1961-1963
We describe a beam-deflection technique based on the ultrafast electro
nic Kerr effect for measuring the duration of ultrashort laser pulses
in a wide spectral range. Using this method, which provides the third-
order intensity correlation function, we have measured subpicosecond K
rF laser pulses. The results are in good agreement with the Kerr-shutt
er autocorrelation measurement.
