Abstract
Pulses with energies as high as 150 mu J and durations as low as 60 fs were generated from 1.1 to 2.6 mu m by a traveling-wave parametric co nverter pumped by femtosecond pulses of a Ti:sapphire laser with chirp ed-pulse amplification.
